Downloads and security warnings
Why Windows or macOS may warn you, and what to do.
Every download on Ludomint is scanned for malware before it is published. Your computer may still show a warning, because most small creators do not pay for the certificates that large publishers use to sign their software.
Windows
If you see "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway.
macOS
If macOS says the app "cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer", right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open, then Open again.
Linux
You may need to mark the file as executable: right-click › Properties › Permissions, or run chmod +x on it.
Stay careful
A scan lowers the risk; it cannot remove it. If a game asks for passwords, payment details, or permissions it should not need, do not continue, and report it with the Report link on its page.
