Writing a good game page

What makes people press Play.

  • Cover: 16:9; 1280 by 720 or larger looks best. Show the game itself, with little or no text. It appears on every card and in link previews.
  • Tagline: one sentence that says what the player does. "Jump between planets before the air runs out" is better than "A fun space game".
  • Screenshots: three to five, from real play.
  • Description: start with what the game is and how long it takes. Then controls. Then anything else. Blank lines make paragraphs; # makes a heading; - makes a list; **bold** and *italic* work.
  • Tags: up to eight. Use words players would search for.
  • How it was made: players here are curious about your tools and process. Games that fill this in get a badge.
  • Devlog: post when you update. Your followers are notified.
